Yep, you read that correctly.
After a little bit of persuasion from G and St. Henri, and a month of preparation, I am finally ready to announce that I will be writing (and posting) my own version of Zone 1.
Unlike the others, I will not have two warring towns, but rather just inner conflict inside the town of Coniston. It takes place in the North West Territories, and as I've never been there personally, I can tell you right here and now that it won't be very geographically accurate. Oh well. I took a lot of liberties to change the characters quite drastically, and remove all but five (bonus points for you if you can figure out which of the characters are based on the original ideas!) of the original concept characters.
The prologue should be published within a few days (maybe even later tonight), so stay tuned!
-K
(P.S. I'll be trying to write my chapters in the Georgia font to distinguish myself from the others, and I've started tagging the chapters with the names of the authors)

Yet another notice
Great to see that St. Henri is now active on this blog.
To distinguish between the two novels being published simultaneously on this blog, the title of each chapter post will begin with the name of the author and then the chapter number. You can also tell by the different body fonts used by us two authors; I usually use courier, and I assume St. Henri will use Arial.
That's all for now. Hope you've enjoyed what's posted so far.
Happy reading.
G!
By the way, Kiki, who co-authored St. Henri's original Zone 1, might have something new to offer too. Stay tuned to find out.

Notice Again
Prologue pt 1 has been rewritten completely, check it out again.
Prologue pt 2 is coming soon, so stay tuned.
I'm also pleased to announce that my friend who originally came up with the story of Zone 1 is back working on his old idea. There is a possibility that soon two stories developed on the same concept will be published simultaneously on this blog. (I'm posting this so when my friend sees this, he might be triggered into productivity, like me today.)

Notice
Anyone who has been to any place described in this story will most certainly notice that the descriptions given to these locations are totally inaccurate. All locations mentioned in this story are also fictitious (though somewhere a place with that name does likely exist, I borrowed the names of these places due to my lack of creativity concerning naming things), not to mention the characters.
No resemblance to real persons, places or events intended.

Hello again!
So it's been over half a year since this blog has been updated...
It's Kiki here, and I thought I'd give you a little heads up!
This blog and story is going to be somewhat revived from its comatose state! Although my original co-author never managed to get on the ball and write this (I actually think he's lost all interest and has entirely forgotten about Zone 1), a friend of mine, G (if you've read North by North, you know him very well), has picked up on the narrative and decided to put his own spin on it!
So we've come to the agreement to post his writing on this...I won't be a co-author, but I'm more of an administrator on the blog itself, so if you have any questions or whatever feel free to ask me!
Hopefully, this will be successful!

Greetings
Hello there! Welcome to Zone 1.
I am Kiki, one half of the creators here. You may have found me on other blogs here on Blogger...I'm quite prolific.
I'll let my co-author introduce himself later in another post, since I'm sure he's able. I'm hoping he remembers to. I'm pretty sure it'll end up with me posting the prologue before he introduces himself.
If you'd like to see my other work, find me on http://knnovels.blogspot.com, http://northbynorthnovel.blogspot.com and http://mindscapeexploration.blogspot.com.
This novel, in brief, is about a dystopian society where only teens aged 15 and 16 live, their struggles, and the ensuing conflicts.
I hope you'll enjoy it!
